Guerilla Marketing Drove Demand for Papa Murphy’s Pizza During Summer Months

Objective: Drive Sales for “Take Home and Cook” your own Pizza during an extremely hot summer time period.

Solution: Entercom Sacramento developed a campaign called “Papa Murphy’s Pizza Patrol”, including the character, “Officer P. Murphy”. We drove awareness by using “Officer P. Murphy” in a street team / “patrol” to reach consumers on the street. The patrol helped deliver free pizzas and special coupons to save money.

Results: We significantly increased sales numbers from the previous year.
